‘Avengers: Infinity War’ TV Spot Reveals New Footage

Marvel has released a new extended TV Spot for Avengers: Infinity War that features some new footage–primarily more banter between the Guardians of the Galaxy. Now the we’ve seen the release of some Infinity Stone-Themed Character Posters for the film, this new TV spot signals the beginning of the end for the film in terms of a marketing perspective. With that said, expect an onslaught of new marketing material in the coming weeks.

In terms of footage, this TV spot is about a 40/60 mix of new vs old or recycled footage. Even though we finally got an (unofficial) taste of Thor meeting the Guardians in a recent clip, the biggest thing that this new TV spot has to offer in terms of new footage is the aforementioned banter between Star Lord and Groot, some new shots of Wakanda, along with some quick looks at Tom Holland‘s Spider-man swinging in action (not on earth).

Avengers: Infinity War assembles one of the largest and most talented casts in film history. The film stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Pom Klementieff, Karen Gillan, Sean Gunn, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Holland, Sebastian Stan, Chadwick Boseman, Benedict Wong, Tom Hiddleston, Benicio Del Toro, Danai Gurira and Josh Brolin. Avengers: Infinity War recently pushed up it’s release date, and now hits theaters on April 27, 2018. Here’s the new TV Spot, along with the official synopsis below:
