‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Clip Shows Thor Meeting The Guardians

Now that Avengers: Infinity War is just over a month away, Marvel has begun to (slowly) lift the veil on the film. We’ve heard a lot about Infinity War recently, and the recent trailer & image releases saw plenty of new looks at what some are describing “the biggest crossover event of all time.” Although the aforementioned trailer saw Star Lord (Chris Pratt) at the forefront, we haven’t really seen much of how the Guardians play into the film.

Well, now this has changed as Marvel recently showcased a clip of the Guardians meeting Thor in the upcoming superhero extravaganza. Here’s the clip, which premiered at last night’s Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards (via Slashfilm):

Even though this is a rip of the broadcast and is not an official release by Marvel, those who are astute would notice that another version of this scene was shown last year at San Diego Comic-Con, as well as Disney’s own D23 Expo. Either way you shake it, this clip provides an extended look at the Guardians that we got in the first trailer for the film, and it’s a totally crowd-pleasing moment to say the least. I’m sure that we’ll be seeing more looks at the film as it’s release quickly approaches, but all i’ll say for now is–R.I.P. Gamora.

Avengers: Infinity War stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Pom Klementieff, Karen Gillan, Sean Gunn, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Holland, Sebastian Stan, Chadwick Boseman, Benedict Wong, Tom Hiddleston, Benicio Del Toro, Danai Gurira and Josh Brolin. The film recently pushed up it’s release date, and now hits theaters on April 27, 2018. Here’s the official synopsis:

As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment – the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain.
