Apple TV+ Reveals Teaser Trailer For Highly Anticipated Limited-Series ‘Presumed Innocent’

Apple TV+ has just released the teaser for its upcoming eight-part limited series, “Presumed Innocent,” starring and executive produced by Jake Gyllenhaal. The series, created by multi-Emmy Award winners David E. Kelley and executive producer J.J. Abrams, boasts a star-studded ensemble cast including Ruth Negga, Bill Camp, O-T Fagbenle, Chase Infiniti, Elizabeth Marvel, Nana Mensah, Renate Reinsve, Peter Sarsgaard, and Kingston Rumi Southwick.

“Presumed Innocent” is set to make its global debut on Apple TV+ with the first two episodes premiering on Wednesday, June 12, followed by a new episode every Wednesday until July 24.

Adapted from the New York Times bestselling novel by Scott Turow, the series delves into a gripping murder mystery that rocks the Chicago Prosecuting Attorney’s office when chief deputy prosecutor Rusty Sabich (played by Gyllenhaal) becomes the prime suspect. The show explores themes of obsession, sex, politics, and the power and limitations of love as the accused fights to keep his family and marriage intact.

The series is produced by Bad Robot Productions and David E. Kelley Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television. J.J. Abrams and Rachel Rusch Rich executive produce for Bad Robot, while David E. Kelley serves as showrunner and executive producer alongside Matthew Tinker. Executive producers also include Dustin Thomason, Sharr White, and Jake Gyllenhaal. Scott Turow and Miki Johnson serve as co-executive producers. Anne Sewitsky directs the first two episodes and the final episode, while Emmy Award winner Greg Yaitanes executive produces and directs episodes three through seven.
