Is Kanye West Really Headed To The ‘Adult’ Industry?

Kanye West once attributed his family’s downfall to his struggles with pornography. However, he seems to be embracing the adage “If you can’t beat them, join them,” as he plans to launch his own porn studio and brand.

According to a representative from Yeezy who spoke with TMZ, West is determined to enter the porn industry. He and his partners are currently in advanced discussions to establish their own venture. West envisions a “Yeezy Porn studio” as part of a larger adult entertainment division within his company.

To bring this vision to life, West has partnered with porn producer Mike Moz, who is famously known as the ex-husband of Stormy Daniels. TMZ reports that the project could be launched as early as this summer.

Certainly, the focus of this new venture isn’t surprising given the numerous reports over the years detailing West’s troubled relationship with pornography and his penchant for very public displays of affection with his new “wife,” Bianca Censori. Let’s not forget, he even served as the creative director for the 2018 Pornhub Awards.

The timing of this move isn’t unexpected either, considering the rapper’s ongoing financial troubles. Since his highly publicized antisemitic and Nazi-sympathizing comments in 2022, West has lost numerous brand deals, resulting in a staggering $1.5 billion loss within weeks. Currently, he’s struggling to sell his Malibu mansion, which he inexplicably gutted, and has been forced to reduce the price from $53 million to $39 million.

Is he viewing the porn industry as his ticket back to billionaire status, or is it simply the only venture he’s passionate about now? It’s hard to say. What we do know is that his self-proclaimed “born-again Christian” beliefs are unlikely to stand in his way. If cognitive dissonance was going to deter Ye, it probably would have happened by now.
