‘The House With A Clock In Its Walls’ Trailer & Images Reveal Eli Roth’s Latest

Universal Pictures has released the first trailer for The House With a Clock in its Walls, the latest film from director Eli Roth. The family-friendly magical adventure film follows a 10 year old boy who goes to live with his uncle (Jack Black) in “a creaky old house with a mysterious tick-tocking heart”. When a series of witches and warlocks jolt’s the town’s sleepy facade to life, the boy and his uncle get caught up in a magical adventure.

Although Roth’s latest effort, Death Wish, opened to a disappointing box office and middling reviews at the beginning of the month, this film seems to taking the genre director into completely new territory. And based on this trailer, it also seems to be a breath of fresh air. In addition to Black, The House with a Clock in Its Walls also stars Cate Blanchett, Owen VaccaroKyle MacLachlan, Colleen Camp, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Vanessa Anne Williams, and Sunny Suljic.
