‘Avengers: Infinity War’ TV Spot Focuses on Gamora & Thanos

Marvel has released another TV spot for the upcoming superhero epic, Avengers: Infinity War. The film serves as the culmination of the MCU, following the villain Thanos (Josh Brolin) as he wreaks havoc on the universe in a relentless quest to collect a series of six magical gems that, if united, could threaten the existence of earth itself. Naturally, it’s up to the Avengers to thwart his plans.

Avengers: Infinity War assembles one of the largest and most talented casts in film history. The film stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Pom Klementieff, Karen Gillan, Sean Gunn, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Holland, Sebastian Stan, Chadwick Boseman, Benedict Wong, Tom Hiddleston, Benicio Del Toro, Danai Gurira and Josh Brolin.

Although we saw the release of the film’s first TV spot just yesterday along with some gem-themed character posters earlier in the week, this new 30-second spot seems to focus on the aforementioned Thanos and Gamora (Zoe Salana). In addition, we get some quick looks and alternate angles of Nebula (Karen Gillan), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), and Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch). The marketing blitz for Infinity War has just begun, so expect to see a ton of new peeks at the movie in the coming weeks. Avengers: Infinity War recently pushed up it’s release date, and now hits theaters on April 27, 2018. Here’s the new TV Spot, along with the official synopsis below:

As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment – the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain.
