Paramount Pictures has released a duo of featurettes for ‘Mission: Impossible Fallout‘ that tease the upcoming installment. Now that the sixth entry into the franchise is only a little over two weeks from smashing it’s way into theaters, the marketing campaign has begun to rev up, revealing more about the story and characters in the film.
The first featurette takes a look at the team of the latest mission, which is comprised of series regulars in Ving Rhames and Simon Pegg, along with returning cast member Rebecca Fergusson as Isla Faust. The featurette mainly focuses on the inclusion of Henry Cavill’s mysterious CIA agent August Walker, who reluctantly joins the crew this time around. The second featurettes focuses on a “tougher” story this time around, teasing the personal nature of this story that Tom Cruise‘s Ethan Hunt this time around. Here are the duo of featurettes:

These featurettes seem to continue that trend, offering only small tidbits of what the story is actually about. ‘Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation‘ writer/director Christopher McQuarrie returns to helm ‘Mission: Impossible Fallout‘, marking the first time that a director has returned to the franchise. In addition to the above mentioned cast, the film also features Sean Harris, Alec Baldwin, Michelle Monaghan, Angela Bassett and Vanessa Kirby. ‘Mission: Impossible Fallout‘ opens on July 27, 2018. In the meantime, here’s the official synopsis for the film:
