Disney has released the final trailer for director Ava DuVernay‘s upcoming epic, ‘A Wrinkle in Time‘. Although we’ve seen a couple of trailers for the film, this one really does a good job of setting up the plot, along with selling the scope of the entire adventure. The film–which was adapted from the 1962 Madeline L’Engle novel of the same name–follows a young girl by the of name Meg Murry (Storm Reid) as she searches for her father (Chris Pine) through inter-dimmensional travel.
The first part of the trailer focuses on the disappearance of of Meg’s father, along with setting up her up as a loaner-type who finds friendship. The second half of the trailer focuses on the journey for he to find her father, along with the astonishing visuals that DuVernay has been able to realize to the screen. The film also boasts the absolutely stellar cast of Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, Mindy Kaling, Zach Galifianakis, Michael Peña, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, and Levi Miller. Either way, ‘A Wrinkle in Time‘ should prove to be one of the more interesting releases that 2018 has to offer when it hits theaters in a couple of months on March 9.
