Age of The Nerd
Cinephiles have been eagerly anticipating any updates on the upcoming Christopher Nolan film TENET and are now thrilled that Warner Bros. has dropped a new trailer that gives us some more insight but leaves us with just as many questions.
Without a doubt, the film looks like it is surely going to chock full on some amazing action sequences, and John David Washington alongside Robert Pattinson appear to have fantastic on-screen chemistry. That being said we are still trying to wrap our heads around what the overall plot for the film will be, but it would not be Christopher Nolan if he didn’t leave us guessing and the trailer is certainly open to interpretation.
Is this a film set in the future? Does it deal with time travel? Is the world facing a fate worse than Armageddon? All of the above are referenced in the trailer, so things could really go any which way. TENET is slated to hit theaters on July 17, 2020 with no apparent delay due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, however, only time will tell if we will even be able to visit movie theaters again by that date. Let’s certainly hope so!
We are more than excited to see how this film will play out and it certainly appears that Nolan has brought out his A-game for sure!
