‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Featurette Explains Why You Should See it in IMAX

Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War is just days away. In what could be the biggest hit of the year and is sure to break box-office records much like Black Panther did, Disney wants to make sure you see it on the biggest screen possible. Marvel Studios just recently released a gauntlet inspired IMAX poster and now the studio explains why IMAX is a screen fit for this many superheroes. In the video below, the Russo brothers go in-depth as to why the aspect ratio is a big deal, especially this time around.

In the new “A SCREEN FIT FOR THIS MANY SUPERHEROES” IMAX Behind the Frame featurette, AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Directors Joe and Anthony Russo and Producer Kevin Feige offer an exclusive look at how they designed the film and took advantage of the larger frame that IMAX provides to bring The Avengers and their Super Hero allies together for an epic showdown 10 years in the making.

Marvel and IMAX will make cinematic history with AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR, which marks the first Hollywood film entirely shot using IMAX cameras. Exclusively in IMAX® theatres, the film will be presented in its entirety in an expanded 1.9:1 aspect ratio – showing audiences up to 26% more of the image than standard theatres – providing IMAX fans with even greater scope and immersion.

Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters April 27 and stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson,Jeremy Renner, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Pom Klementieff, Karen Gillan, Sean Gunn, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Holland, Sebastian Stan, Chadwick Boseman, Benedict Wong, Tom Hiddleston, Benicio Del Toro,Danai Gurira and Josh Brolin.
