Archer Season 9 Trailer Invites viewers to “Danger Island”

FXX has premiered the first teaser trailer for the 9th season of Archer, entitled Archer: Danger Island. Although the new season recently just got it’s first synopsis, we haven’t known much about the upcoming season–until now. As a huge fan of the show, his trailer is all to short, but nonetheless provides an intriguing glimpse into what the 9th season has to offer. Even though the Archer gang have been through some serials shit in the past eight seasons, Danger island seems to be crazier then ever.

The 9th season of the show sees the return of Sterling Archer (H. Jon Benjamin), Malory Archer (Jessica Walter), Lana Kane a.k.a. Princess Lanaluakalani (Aisha Tyler), Cheryl Tunt a.k.a. Charlotte Vandertunt (Judy Greer), Pam Poovey (Amber Nash), Cyril Figgis a.k.a. Siegbert Fuchs (Chris Parnell), Reynaud (showrunner/creator Adam Reed) and the scarlet macaw Crackers (Lucky Yates). Archer: Danger Island is set to premiere in April 5th, 2018. FXX’s Archer is an original animated, half-hour comedy that, in its ninth season, centers on the semi-functioning alcoholic seaplane pilot, Sterling Archer, a lush on the lush South Pacific island of Mitimotu in 1939. While the rest of the world is concerned about the impending Second World War, Archer is only concerned with who’s buying his next drink. Along with his trusty co-pilot Pam, Sterling must navigate quicksand, cannibals, super-intelligent monkeys, poison darts, pirates, and did we mention quicksand?
