‘Deadpool 2’ Blu-Ray Unrated Cut & Comic-Con 2018 Details Revealed!

Fox Home Entertainment has finally revealed more details on the ‘Deadpool 2‘ unrated cut, which is now officially titled ‘Deadpool 2 Super Duper $@%!#& Cut’. Aside from having the best title ever, the ‘Deadpool 2 Super Duper $@%!#& Cut’ will feature 15 minutes of unseen footage including deleted scenes, alternate jokes and extended takes. Although we learned this past weekend that the film would hold both a special panel as well as the world premiere screening of this unrated cut at San Diego Comic-Con 2018, further details about ‘Deadpool 2‘s presence have finally been unveiled.

Aside form this one hour “Deadpool and pals” panel set to take place in Hall H on Saturday, July 21 at 5:15 pm PT, the world premiere of the ‘Deadpool 2 Super Duper $@%!#& Cut’ will take place in the Horton Grand Theatre (444 Fourth Ave., San Diego, CA 92101) at 9:30pm. Tickets to the screening will be available to Saturday or weekend-long Comic-Con badge holders only. Badge holders can head to the Sails Pavilion at 9am Saturday for your chance to get your hands on tickets.

But that’s not all! Fox has also announced that “Deadpool’s Super Duper Dance Party” will also take place on the convention floor at booth 3529 from Wednesday (preview night), July 18 through Sunday, July 22. Described as “a series of musical performances by Deadpool and his animatronic band of X-Force rejects that you’ll never forget–despite your best efforts,” the first 1200 attendees to reach the booth each day will receive a different San Diego Comic-Con exclusive t-shirt.

Finally, “Deadpool’s Dream Suite” will also invade the Hard Rock Hotel for the Comic-Con 2018 weekend. If you’ve ever wondered what it would look like if Deadpool and Blind Al took over the Hard Rock Hotel’s most expensive suite? Probably not, but Vudu Movies & TV has partnered with Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment to host a sweepstakes for one lucky Comic-Con attendee to win a stay in the “Deadpool Dream Suite” on Saturday evening. The suite is modeled after Deadpool’s apartment and comes fully-stocked with more half-finished Ikea furniture and pop-culture Easter eggs than you could shake a katana at. Not to mention all the (non-adult) movies the winner could ever watch, courtesy of Vudu.Those planning to be at Comic-Con can enter to win HERE. With the winner being announced at Comic-Con on July 20th.

As far as the Blu-ray itself, convention attendees can pre-order the ‘Deadpool 2 Super Duper $@%!#& Cut‘ 4K UHD or Blu-ray at the Fox Fanfare Booth (#4229) or at Deadpool’s Super Duper Dance Party (#3529) and receive a Comic-Con exclusive trucker hat, while supplies last. ‘Deadpool 2’ will be released on Digital HD on August 7th, 2018 and 4K Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and DVD on August 21st, 2018.
