‘Luke Cage’ Season Two Release Date and Teaser Released

Netflix has been on a roll today with releasing trailers for their upcoming projects. Earlier the streaming service realized the official trailer for their remake of Lost in Space – now they have released a teaser for season two of Marvel’s Luke Cage which also reveals the premiere date.

To the tune of Eric B. & Rakim’s “I Ain’t No Joke”, Cage dares his foes to come after him, warning them that they can’t break him.

After clearing his name, Luke Cage has become a celebrity on the streets of Harlem with a reputation as bulletproof as his skin. But being so visible has only increased his need to protect the community and find the limits of who he can and can’t save. With the rise of a formidable new foe, Luke is forced to confront the fine line that separates a hero from a villain.

Another Defenders show is also ready to stream very soon. Season two of Marvel’s Jessica Jones will be available to stream on Netflix on March 8.

Season one of Luke Cage stars Mike Colter, Simone Missick, Rosario Dawson, Justin Swain, Alfre Woodard, Theo Rossi, Jaiden Kaine, Ron Cephas Jones and Erik LaRay Harvey.

Season two of Luke Cage will be available on Netflix June 22.
