Recently over Christmas break my girlfriend and I watched Gremlins. The movie came out way back in 1984. We both haven’t seen the movie since we were kids. So, we thought it would be a good idea to check it out and watch it, and give a quick review.

Have I ever told someone they were dumb for not liking these things? Sure, but never in a serious “you have no taste” kind of way. But, that seems to be the way that a lot of fandoms went in this last year, but never was this more present than with two particular titles: 'The Last Jedi' and 'Rick and Morty'.

Alright, Serkis and Haddish stumbled through this well enough, let's get to the big stories. Stars(*) represent went I got a prediction correct, and you can see my Oscar predictions for this year after the jump!

The supposed sequel, which stars Danny McBride and Paul Hogan, follows McBride's Brian Dundee as he goes to search for his father, who has been missing for some time. It seems oddly strange to me that 'Dundee' would fly under the radar for so long with nothing but a teaser trailer to show for it. Almost too strange.

I remember saying of 'Almost Famous,' a few years ago that Cameron Crowe, who based the film on his own experience as a Rolling Stone journalist touring with bands like 'Led Zeppelin', and 'The Allman Brothers Band', that he was luckiest son-of-a-b*tch kid of all-time.

Original movie slasher, Michael Myers will be looking to stalk babysitter Laurie Strode once more this year when the latest movie in the Halloween franchise hits theaters on October 19th. It will be celebrating the 40th anniversary of the 1978 classic by revitalising the Myers/Strode narrative once more.
