Danger will find them. Lost in Space premieres April 13, 2018.
From the trailer alone, you can see the production value that Netflix provides. There’s lots of stunning visuals and beautiful landscapes that you can see in numerous pullout shots. You can’t get that kind of quality CGI on network television. Netflix shows why it’s ahead of the game in production and is the place to be.
Lost in Space originally aired back in 1965 and ran for three seasons. With the first season being in black and white before going to color with the final two seasons. The series would get a big screen remake in 1998 which starred William Hurt, Mimi Rogers, Heather Graham, Lacey Chabert, Matt LaBlanc and Gary Oldman. The film did not do well at the US box office. It grossed only $69,117,629 on an estimated budget of $80,000,000. The new series will take place 30 years in the future.
Netfix’s Lost in Space stars Toby Stephens, Molly Parker, Mina Sundwall, Parker Posey, Taylor Russell, Max Jenkins. The series will consist of 10 episodes for its initial season.
