NYCC 2020 Canceled Due To Covid

It comes as no surprise that today it was announced that New York Comic Con 2020 which was scheduled to take place October has been canceled due to the worldwide virus known as Covid-19.  NYCC 2020 has joined SDCC in events that have been canceled due to the virus. It is better to be safe than sorry than to endanger the lives of the fans that visit the annual event.

New York City has been a staple of pop culture and entertainment for decades. NYC was also one of the city’s in North America that saw the most cases of Covid. The Javits Center the physical location for the majority of NYCC events was used as a housing place for many of the victims of the virus, so it comes as no surprise that the location and the city had to cancel the event for peoples safety.

ReedPop  the world’s leading producer of pop culture events has announced officially partnering with YouTube on an all-digital event that will bring the excitement, community, and incredible content expected from NYCC directly to fans around the world.

Although we are going to miss our New York Comic Con adventures we totally support this decision. Stay tuned for any updates pertaining to NYCC 2020 and have a great day.
