A ‘Stranger Things’ Convention Is Coming To New Jersey Next Month

Fans of Stranger Things have reason to rejoice. Event promotion company Creation Entertainment is giving the Netflix cult phenomenon it’s very own convention. Stranger Con is set for May 4-5 at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, NJ. More information and tickets are available now HERE.

Special guests for Stranger Con will include Millie Bobbie Brown (Eleven/Jane), Noah Schnapp (Will Byers), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas Sinclair), Priah Ferguson (Erica Sinclair), Chelsea Talmadge (Carol), Matty Cardarople (Keith), and Chester Rushing (Tommy H.). Rushing will serve as host for the weekend. The multi-talented actor will also perform a musical acoustic set on Saturday night.

The convention features four different admission packages – Gold, Silver, Copper, and General. Gold package members will gain access to an exclusive panel on Sunday featuring Millie Bobbie Brown and Noah Schnapp. The 30-minute panel includes a Q&A session.

The convention will also feature a cosplay contest and a Yes/No Trivia Game which tests fans’ Stranger Things knowledge. Winners will receive gift certificates good for Creation Entertainment merchandise. A number of select vendors will also be on hand throughout the weekend.

Season three of Stranger Things premieres on July 4. The official trailer for the new season was unveiled last month. The show premiered on Netflix in 2016. In 2017, the cast won the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series.

Creation Entertainment was founded in 1971 by Gary Berman and Adam Malin. In 1991, Creation Entertainment became the very first studio licensee for the production of film “stills” when Paramount Pictures granted the company a landmark agreement for the Star Trek franchise that covered photos as well as a wide range of collectible souvenirs.

Working closely with the Paramount/Viacom Consumer Products team and with the inspiration of one of Creation’s earliest patrons, Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry, Creation designed and produced a myriad of Star Trek t-shirts, hats, mugs, photos and assorted autographed collectibles.

In 2009, Creation began its involvement in the hugely successful Twilight Saga films and books. The company launched an official North American Twilight Convention Tour, playing to enthusiastic crowds anxious to meet stars including Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Peter Facinelli, Kellan Lutz, and many others.

Currently, Creation Entertainment offers a number of show-specific conventions for programs like Riverdale, Supernatural, The Vampire Diaries, General Hospital, and Star Trek.
