Disney has officially unveiled the first full-length trailer for the upcoming live action ‘The Lion King‘ movie which is expected to shatter box office records with its all-star cast. The film is set to premiere on July 19th, which is 25 years after the original fan-favorite film was released.
‘The Lion King,’ is directed by Jon Favreau, and features an all-star voice cast, including Donald Glover as Simba, Seth Rogen as Pumbaa, Billy Eichner as Timon, Beyonce as Nala, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar, Alfre Woodard as Sarabi, John Oliver as Zazu, and James Earl Jones as Mufasa. The latter voiced the same character in Disney’s 1994 animated movie.
This full length trailer showcases Simba as he grows from a lonely cub to the ruler of the animal kingdom, whilst making friends with the cast of characters along the way.
