New Trailer & Poster for ‘The House With A Clock In It’s Walls’ Is Whimsically Delightful

Universal has unveiled a brand new trailer and poster for ‘The House With A Clock In It’s Walls‘ and it looks absolutely delightful. Although we saw a teaser trailer for the film a few months back, this trailer does a wonderful job of selling the magical  family adventure. The film Stars Owen Vaccaro as Lewis, a boy who goes to live with his uncle (Jack Black) in an old creaky house. After discovering that Black’s character is a Warlock and that the house is indeed magical, Lewis accidentally awakens the dead, thrusting the two into a magical adventure.

Directed by Eli Roth, the film seems to have a great mix of comedy, mysticism and heart. Considering that Roth is known for his more violent, R-rated material, ‘The House With A Clock In It’s Walls‘ is a very welcome change for Roth. Although the film could easily be too whimsical, this trailer really hits a tone that works. It’s also to Roth’s credit for casting such great actors such as Black and Cate Blanchett to surround Vaccaro, ultimately makigng for some promising chemistry in the final product.

In addition to the lead trio, ‘The House with a Clock in Its Walls’ also stars Kyle MacLachlanColleen Camp, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Vanessa Anne Williams, and Sunny Suljic. The film arrives in theaters on September 21st, 2018, In the meantime, you can find the new trailer and poster below:
