‘Hotel Artemis’ Red-Band Trailer Is Insanity

Global Road Entertainment has released a new red-band trailer for ‘Hotel Artemis‘, and it is insanely glorious. In case you are unaware, the film stars takes place in futuristic Los Angeles where a secret, members-only hospital caters to criminals. Run by Jodie Foster‘s “The Nurse”, all hell breaks loose when an object of great value enter’s it’s doors. While this film is certainly riding on the coattails of the ‘John Wick‘ franchise, it actually reminds me of ‘Smokin’ Aces‘ more than anything else. In terms of style, tone and the ensemble cast, the film seems to know exactly the type of film that it’s trying to be.

The ‘Hotel Artemis‘ marks the directorial debut of writer Drew Pierce (‘Iron Man 3‘), who is looks to launch a promising career in the director’s chair with the film. I’m really loving what this trailer has to offer, but it’s the supporting cast that seems to be the selling point of the film. The film’s supporting players include Sterling K. Brown, Sofia Boutella, Jeff Goldblum, Brian Tyree Henry, Jenny Slate, Zachary Quinto, Charlie Day, and Dave Bautista. Everyone seems to be having a blast, and that’s a great thing for a premise that could be really silly if it weren’t for the A-list cast.

Here’s the official trailer for ‘Hotel Artemis’, along with the official synopsis and poster below:
