Warner Bros. follows suit with Disney and Avengers and moves up the release date of their upcoming film, Rampage.
Rampage moves up from its original release date of April 20 to April 13, giving it a full two weeks before Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters. Which means Warner Bros. wants to make as much money before Infinity War destroys the box office.
Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson who stars in the film took to Instagram to both announce and explain the pros of the move.

Rampage stars Dwayne Johnson, Jeffery Dean Morgan, Malin Akerman, Joe Manganiello, Will Yun Lee, and Naomie Harris. The film is directed by Brad Peyton.
Primatologist Davis Okoye (Johnson), a man who keeps people at a distance, shares an unshakable bond with George, the extraordinarily intelligent, silverback gorilla who has been in his care since birth. But a rogue genetic experiment gone awry transforms this gentle ape into a raging monster. To make matters worse, it’s soon discovered there are other similarly altered alpha predators.
