Blake Anderson, Anders Holm and Adam Devine in the Netflix Film GAME OVER MAN!

New ‘Game Over, Man!’ Trailer

It’s been just shy of a year since the Comedy Central show Workaholics ended.  The series ran for seven seasons and introduced us to our three protagonists in the upcoming Netflix original movie Game Over, Man!.  Our three lovable stoner-slackers have been separated this past year chasing solo projects.  Adam Devine has been busy staring in movies, doing comedy, and hosting television shows.  Anders Holm is on a new NBC series Champions, written and created by the powerful Mindy Kaling.  Blake Anderson is appearing in tv and movies – not to mention starting his own clothing line.  It’s great their careers are taking them to new directions.  But I like most Workaholics fans want to see the bros together.

Game Over, Man! appears to be the return we all hoped for.  The fourth call them “bash-brothers” (sure?) is the man behind the camera Kyle Newacheck who portrayed the guys drug dealer Carl on Workaholics.  While Newacheck is behind the camera on this film directing a script from Anders Holm, I wouldn’t be surprised if he pops up on screen at some point.  Nevertheless it should be fun to see the gang back together.

The trailer promises a Workaholics – Die Hard hybrid and a star-studded supporting cast including Cloris Leachman and Shaggy.  Game Over, Man! is produced by Seth Rogan and Evan Goldberg among others and will be hitting Netflix March 23rd.

Here’s the official synopsis for the film:

During a star-studded Los Angeles party, three zeroes become heroes (sort of) when the hotel they work at is taken hostage by bad guys.  From the creators of Workaholics, this action comedy comes locked and super loaded on March 23.
