The 87th Academy Awards recently took place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California. Despite being a year filled with the lack of a clear winner for most categories, there were a lot of amazing films worth honoring. Even though the Academy snubbed a few films that I would have wanted to shine some recognition on (Nightcrawler, Enemy, Under the Skin), the nominations had little to fault aside from The LEGO Movie being absent aside from a song nomination.
