The entertainment world is abuzz with anticipation as the first look at the upcoming film “Challengers” starring Zendaya, Josh O’Connor and Mike Faist has been released. “Challengers” directed by Luca Guadagnino revolves around a love triangle among three tennis players. After being postponed last year due to Hollywood strikes, the film now has a new trailer and release date. The latest preview, similar to the one from June 2023, serves as a reminder of the film’s upcoming release. The storyline follows former tennis star Tashi Duncan (Zendaya), whose career ends due to a leg injury, as she reconnects with her pro husband Art (Mike Faist) and a former rival/lover Patrick (Josh O’Conner) years later.
The Amazon MGM Studios film was written by Justin Kuritzkes and features a score composed by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, who previously worked with Guadagnino on 2022’s Bones and All.
