It’s been nearly nine years in the making, but we finally have a first look at the highly anticipated “Borderlands” film! In support of the worldwide release of the film’s trailer Lionsgate has shared two first look imaged and the official poster.
A star-studded cast including Cate Blanchett, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, Ariana Gleenblatt, Florian Munteanu and Jamie Lee Curtis headline this adaptation of one of the best-selling videogame franchises of all time.
The film adaptation of “Borderlands” will be directed by Eli Roth based on a screenplay from both Roth and Joe Crombie. The video Game Borderlands was created by Gearbox Software and published by 2K.
About the film:
Lilith (Blanchett), an infamous bounty hunter with a mysterious past, reluctantly returns to her home, Pandora, the most chaotic planet in the galaxy.
