Chuck Lorre’s New Show ‘Bookie” Gets Picked Up For A Second Season On Max

Chuck Lorre the writer and producer behind hit shows, Two and a Half Men, The Big Bang Theory, and Young Sheldon has a new show out.  The show is called Bookie and premiered on HBO MAX on  November 30, 2023.   The show follows two bookies struggling to survive the impending legalization of sports gambling and their increasingly unstable clients, family, and co-workers.

The show stars comedian Sebastian Maniscalco, Omar Dorsey, Andrea Anders, Vanessa Ferlito, and was created by Chuck Lorre and Nick Bakay. The show had a warm reception among fans. Bookie has been renewed for a second season by HBO Max.  That’s not the only good news, The show has had a reunion of sorts for producer Chuck Lorre and actor Charlie Sheen who plays a fictional; version of himself on the show. Sheen was on the hit show Two and a Half Men and had a very public falling out with Lorre years ago.
It seems that time has healed old wounds because both Lorre and Sheen seem to buried the hatchet. People are already hoping that a Two and a Half reunion is possible, but Lorre has put thise rumors to rest, but did say that Charlie can make another appearance in season 2.
