2024 is looking like a big year for Pearl Jam. Our favorite band from Seattle Washington has a big year coming up. Not only does the band have a new album that should be out this year. A worldwide tour should soon follow. The band should be releasing their next studio album sometime this year according to various band members including drummer Matt Cameron and bassist Jeff Ament.
A single from the upcoming record should also be hitting the airwaves in the next couple of weeks. the single is called Wrecker. The title of the album has yet to be revealed. Guitarists Mike McCready and Stone Gossard have also revealed in various interviews that the new album will be a lot heavier than previous albums. Pearl Jam has announced upcoming shows at Wrigley Field in Chicago on August 29th and August 30th. They will also headline BottleRock in Napa Valley, California on May 25th.
The next album will be the 12th studio album from the band and will follow Gigaton which was released in March of 2020. Andrew Watt who has produced records for Ozzy Osbourne and The Rolling Stones produced the latest album. Pearl Jam will also be honored at the Clio Music Awards on January 31st in Los Angeles. So looking forward to hearing the new album and hoping to see the band on the road. How about you?
