Celebrating 30 Years! Fans Can Visit Jurassic Park At San Diego Comic Con!

The many festivities surrounding the 30th anniversary of Jurassic Park will continue into July, as Universal Products & Experiences and Amblin Entertainment will be bringing a massive activation to San Diego Comic Con. The two day experience is set to take place between July 21 and July 22 and will recreate some iconic moments from the 1993 film.

Be sure to “Hang, on to your butts” because the activation will recreate the infamous scene where corporate attorney Donald Gennaro (played by Martin Ferrero) attempts to run and hide is ultimately attacked by the Dilophosaurus and then his ill-fated toilet trip when he eventually meets up with the T. Rex! As, Dr. Ian Malcom said, “When you gotta go, you gotta go”!  A first look at the activation, seen above, shows a recreation of that famous toilet and a definite visit from the T. Rex!

Visitors will also be greeted by meticulously crafted scenes, bringing the 1993 prehistoric park to life right before their eyes,” according to a press release. There’s also a “Visitor’s Center” selling merch and special Jurassic Park-themed food to eat.
