The Pixies Hit The Road For The First Time Since 2018 In Support Of Latest Album ‘Doggerel’

The Pixies are back on the road with their first tour since 2018, and fans are eager to hear their latest album Doggerel live. The legendary alternative rock band, known for their influential blend of noise, pop, and surreal lyrics, have been making music since the mid-1980s, and have inspired countless artists in the genre.

Doggerel, their seventh studio album, was released in September 2022, and received critical acclaim for its fresh and adventurous sound. The album features 12 tracks that showcase the Pixies’ trademark dynamics, catchy hooks, and quirky humor.

The tour kicked off in January 2023 in Los Angeles, and will visit 25 cities across North America and Europe. Even with the new tunes, one Pixies show is never the same as the next as the band changes their set list every night, pulling from the vast catalog, and with setlist decisions made onstage, so it truly promises to be a special show. They will be supported by Franz Ferdinand and Bully.

The Pixies have promised to deliver a thrilling show that will span their entire career, from their classic hits like “Where Is My Mind?” and “Here Comes Your Man”, to their new material from Doggerel. The tour is expected to sell out quickly, as the Pixies have a loyal and passionate fan base that has been waiting for their return.

If you are a fan of the Pixies, or if you want to discover one of the most influential bands in alternative rock history, you don’t want to miss this opportunity to see them live.
