Kevin Smith Quits The Sticky Icky For A Healthier State Of Mind

Kevin Smith the director of the Clerks trilogy and so many other films has a new take on life. He has given up the green that has been been a staple of many of his onscreen characters over the last few decades. Smith was known as a pot smoker, and happy to promote it as much as he was talking about his films.

We almost lost the director five years  after he had a massive heart attack backstage before a live show.  The director had what is referred to as “the Widow-Maker”. But luckily the director was saved by some amazing doctors. Smith later revealed on the The Late Show With Stephen Colbert show that weed had helped keep him calm during the whole ordeal which kind of saved his life.

The director is always busy with his podcasts and writing. He also owns Silent Bob’s Secret Stash comic book shop in Red Bank and the SModcastle podcast theater in the Leonardo section of Middletown. And now is now the co owner of a movie theater in downtown Highlands called the Atlantic Movie house.

Whatever Kevin Smith’s future holds we look forward to it. And with a clear mind maybe he might write a movie better than Yoga Hosers. Just kidding Mr. Smith your still the man, and look forward to seeing you at SDCC or in New Jersey this year.
