This year has been a trying time for many people around the world. This year has also seen what is known as a podcast hit the mainstream. One of the best podcast’s out there in my opinion is the Talking Sopranos Podcast. The podcast is hosted by Michael Imperioli and Steven Schirripa.
From 1999 to 2007, The Sopranos aired on HBO on Sunday nights. The hit show revolves around Tony Soprano an Italian mobster based in New Jersey trying to balance his family life and his criminal empire. The show was a pop cultural phenomenon and many consider it to be the best show ever written for television.
Imperioli who portrayed Christopher on the show, and Schirripa who played Bobby host a podcast called Talking Sopranos where they talk to various guests that have appeared on the series. New episodes of the podcast are available every week. Imperioli and Schirripa are hilarious together and give a real insight into what it was like working on the show. The pair also discuss Hollywood and various topics that will leave any fan of the Sopranos laughing.
It was recently revealed at the beginning of episode 34 during the “Amour Fou” episode that a very special guest would be appearing on the podcast. And that special guest will be none other than series creator David Chase. The creator of the show will appear on the Talking Sopranos Holiday Special ninety minute’s with David Chase.
