‘Black Panther’ Star, Chadwick Boseman, Dead at 43

“Black Panther” star Chadwick Boseman has died at 43 on Friday (Aug. 28), following a 4-year battle with colon cancer.

On Aug. 28, his Twitter had a statement that read, “It is with immeasurable grief that we confirm the passing of Chadwick Boseman.”

“Chadwick was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer in 2016, and battled with it these last 4 years as it progressed to stage IV,” the statement continued. “It was the honor of his life to bring King T’Challa to life in Black Panther.”

It was reported that he died at home, with his wife and family by his side.

The actor was also in Spike Lee’s “Da 5 Bloods,” “Get on Up,” “42” and “Draft Day.”
