Westworld Will ‘Re-Open’ In 2020

While we will sadly be saying good-bye to HBO’s “Game Of Thrones” we have now learned that “Westworld” will be re-opening in 2020, which definitely gives us something to look forward to next year. It is a fairly long time to wait, but we are sure that it is going to be well worth it in the end!

In an interview with Deadline, HBO’s president Casey Bloys confirmed that the series will not be back until 2020, but did not reveal any additional details about the direction of the upcoming season which is currently being filmed.

We have also learned that there will be two new humans (non-robot) joining the series with Lena Waithe and Aaron Paul, who recently confessed to being a huge fan of the series since season one and teased his role as being “dangerous and gory”.

Many people were wondering about the future of the network after losing some of their flagship shows such as “The Sopranos”, “Six Feet Under” and now “Game Of Thrones”, however, HBO has always managed to find another way to come out on top. Keep in mind, they have the upcoming “Watchman” series from Damon Lindelof and the anticipated “Game Of Thrones” spin-off starring Naomi Watts. Looks like HBO will be going strong for quite some time to come!
