‘Avengers: Endgame’ Character Posters & Featurette Avenge The Fallen

With exactly a month to go until the release of Avengers: Endgame, Marvel Studios and Disney have revealed a whole slew of new character posters, along with a new featurette to accompany them. As easily one of the most anticipated event movies in recent memory, it’s safe to say the the film is poised to have one of the biggest openings of all time. More importantly, Avengers: Endgame is intended to be the culmination of the so-called “Infinity Saga” of the MCU. These new posters and featurette mark the beginning of the end in appropriate way — by looking back on what’s come before.

Avengers: Endgame Featurette and Character

Although the new material is welcome, at also marks the beginning of the end for Avengers: Endgame‘s marketing barrage. First up, we have the aforementioned featurette, which examines the effects of The Decimation on  the surviving characters, as well as the world. Aside from the tidbits of information that it reveals in terms of character context for the story, but it seems to hint at the possibility of the jump in time. It’s unclear exactly how much time has passed since the event of Avengers: Infinity War, but we”ll know exactly in a month. Int he meantime, check it out for yourself:

Elsewhere, we have a boatload of new character posters that tease the fallen and those trying to avenge them. Along withe serving as a handy reminder of those who perished in The Decimation, it also confirms the appearances of a few familiar faces. Notably, we bet character posters for Jon Favreau‘s Happy Hogan and Tessa Thompson‘s Valkyrie, which all but confirms their presence in the film. The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films, “Avengers: Endgame.”

Kevin Feige produces “Avengers: Endgame,” and Anthony and Joe Russo are the directors. Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Michael Grillo, Trinh Tran, Jon Favreau, James Gunn and Stan Lee are the executive producers, and Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely wrote the screenplay.
