New ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ Image Teases Mandalorians and Villain

Before the upcoming Star Wars film Solo: A Star Wars Story flies into theaters next month, Disney still needs to promote the film believe it or not. Disney has released two new images from the film a special Empire issue (pun may be intended from them, not me). And one of these images are a lot more interesting than the other.

The image below shows Han (Alden Ehrenreich) in a predicament on the planet of Vandor, as he’s hanging for his life during the Vandor Heist. It’s nothing too interesting because we know that the hero will survive this one.

Now here comes the more interesting one. Check out the image below before we point some things out.

In the above pic, we see a better look at the villain of Solo, Dryden Vos played by Paul Bettany. He has a somewhat interesting look with what looks to be some battle scars but as we found out with the latest Star Wars film, battle scars really doesn’t mean you’re much of a badass. Cough* Supreme Leader” Snoke. What’s really interesting and pretty cool is that the armor in the back appears to be Mandarlorian armor. It also has more of a Samurai look to it. This could be Dryden Vos’ armor but it could also be that he is just a wealthy character and likes to collect. Mandarlorians are some of the deadliest warriors, mercenaries and bounty hunters in the galaxy.

The images can be found in Empire’s April issue. Below is an image of the subscriber cover.
