‘Black Panther’ Releases New Trailer & Featurettes

Marvel has released both a new TV spot/trailer and two new featurettes for their latest release, ‘Black Panther‘. The film is only a month away from hitting theaters, but it is already breaking records for most pre-sale tickets sold within the first 24 hours of going on sale. Directed by Ryan Cooler,  the film follows T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman) as he struggles to return to the throne Wakanda, while at the same time defending the nation from would-be king Erik Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan).

Based on these three videos, the marketing campaign seems to be in full swing, and we really don’t know that much about the intricacies of the plot after all of the marketing that we’ve seen thus far. This is a good thing, considering that this film will hopefully reveal the location of the final infinity stone before the release of ‘Avengers: Infinity War‘, along with what are sure to be many more Wakandan secrets. In addition to Boseman and Jordan, the film stars Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, with Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, and Andy Serkis. Below, you can check out the two featurettes, along with the brand new TV Spot/Trailer for ‘Black Panther‘:

In case you’ve missed it, here’s the official synopsis for the film:

Marvel Studios’ “Black Panther” follows T’Challa who, after the death of his father, the King of Wakanda, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation to succeed to the throne and take his rightful place as king. But when a powerful old enemy reappears, T’Challa’s mettle as king—and Black Panther—is tested when he is drawn into a formidable conflict that puts the fate of Wakanda and the entire world at risk. Faced with treachery and danger, the young king must rally his allies and release the full power of Black Panther to defeat his foes and secure the safety of his people and their way of life.

Black Panther‘ is set to be released in exactly a month on February 16, 2018.
