‘Zombieland 2’ Confirmed – All Four Stars Set To Return

It has been nearly 10 years since we have attended Zombieland and it looks like we will get to have one more ride.

According to THR, Zombieland 2 has finally been greenlit by Sony Pictures and all four stars of the original film – Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone and Abigail Breslin are set to return as well as director Ruben Fleischer, and writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese who have just come off of the hit film Deadpool 2.

Zombieland followed four characters Columbus (Eisenberg), Tallahassee (Harrelson), Wichita (Stone), and Little Rock (Breslin) as the four found survival in numbers in a Zombie-infested world. The sequel will see the team take on newly evolved zombies traveling all the way from the White House to the Heartland while they continue as a dysfunctional make-shift family.

The original film was a hit at the box office grossing $75,590,286 in the US and making a cumulative worldwide grossing of $102,391,540.

The film will begin production in January and is set to be released in October 2019, marking the 10 year anniversary of the original.

I have a certificate of completion for a children’s storybook writing program.
