Patrick Stewart Is Looking Old In New Picture From “Logan”

Just one day after the title was revealed and I told you all to stay tuned for more Logan news, director James Mangold posts a picture on Twitter, this time of an older Professor X:

Now, even though Logan takes place in 2024, Professor X is looking baaaaaad.  The comic rendition of Old Man Logan takes place quite far in the future (and doesn’t even feature Professor X) when most of the world’s superheroes we know are dead, so I’m betting this film is going to differ from that quite a bit.  The Wrap states that in this film, “Professor X is old and not well. His powers are unstable and at times he doesn’t even remember Logan.”  Sucks to be Logan seeing as Professor X chose him specifically in Days of Future Past to save the world.

The Wrap also confirms what I had guessed yesterday, which is that Logan isn’t quite healing like he used to. They also mention a little girl with two claws instead of three, which would be X-23 like everyone and their mom had guessed.  I’m excited to see how Logan is shaping up and I’m even more pumped to get a first glimpse of Mister Sinister!  When I do, so will you.

Logan comes out March 3, 2017.
