Netflix has unleashed the new trailer for their upcoming Daredevil Season 2, and while things don’t look great for Hells Kitchen, things are looking promising for viewers.  Following the hugely critical and commercial success of the first season, the stakes are raised with the addition of another Hells Kitchen vigilante, the Punisher.  Played by Jon Bernthal, the Punisher looks to be seeking justice in his own way, not the “half-measured” way Daredevil has chosen to take.

Check out the new trailer below:

Wow.  Just, wow.  This fantastic first trailer puts all of the focus on newcomer the Punisher, with a brief Elektra (Elodie Young) cameo at the end.  Things are not looking good for Hells Kitchen, and are looking terrifying for anybody who gets in the Punishers way.  This is Part 1 of the trailer, with Part 2’s release date scheduled for 2/25/16, so stay tuned for the complete picture.

Just when Matt thinks he is bringing order back to the city, new forces are rising in Hell’s Kitchen. Now the Man Without Fear must take on a new adversary in Frank Castle and face an old flame – Elektra Natchios.

Bigger problems emerge when Frank Castle, a man looking for vengeance, is reborn as The Punisher, a man who takes justice into his own hands in Matt’s neighborhood. Meanwhile, Matt must balance his duty to his community as a lawyer and his dangerous life as the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen, facing a life-altering choice that forces him to truly understand what it means to be a hero.

Charlie CoxDeborah Ann WollElden Henson, and Rosario Dawson return from season one, with newcomers Jon Bernthal and Elodie Yung joining the cast.  Daredevil Season 2 airs March 18th on Netflix.
