‘Dawn of The Planet of The Apes’ Trailer #2

Following the events of the critically acclaimed 2011 blockbuster, “Rise of The Planet of The Apes“, focuses on a growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species. Check out the new trailer below!

We finally get a real look at the film in the second trailer and so far far, i personally think this looks awesome. The narrative of the film seems much stronger than its predecessor, as the human perspective of the story will be portrayed by talented actors such as Jason Clarke (Zero Dark Thirty), Gary Oldman (RoboCop), and Keri Russell (The Americans), while motion capture master Andy Serkis returns as Caesar. While many of the Apes see it as “us verse them” and are ready to wipe out the humans, Caesar continues to struggle with identity, and as a product of both worlds is torn between his loyalty to the apes while attempting to prevent an all out war with the remaining human race.

Dawn of The Planet of The Apes opens in the U.S on July 11th, 2014.
