Last year Warner Bros Discovery who owns the DC Universe appointed two people to lead the way for the future of DC. Those two people were Peter Safran and James Gunn. Safran who has produced several films for Warner Brothers, and Gunn who has directed many comic book related hits were the perfect pair to lead the way.
The pair have been busy over the past couple of months putting together a slate of material combining film and television DC properties, including live-action and animation as well as gaming. And in a tweet yesterday Gunn revealed it all.
“One of our strategies is to take our diamond characters — which is Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman — and we use them to prop up other characters that people don’t know,” explained Gunn.
