Branded as the most hated man in wrestling after winning a highly controversial WCW World Heavyweight Championship in 2000, actor David Arquette attempts a rocky return to the sport that stalled his promising Hollywood career. Dangerously determined to redeem his reputation and reclaim his self-respect, Arquette will stop at nothing to earn his place in professional wrestling.
Like the film’s synopsis states the film will document Arquette’s attempt to rise above all the criticism and hit the ring in front of real fans and become a bloody mess just for them to take him seriously. The film show’s David Arquette’s true dedication in a field of entertainment that he is also a fan of and will do everything humanly possibly to become a part of it.
The film features many stars of professional wrestling including Diamond Dallas Paige, Ric Flair, The Nasty Boy’s, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, Mick Foley, The Sandman, and many others known in the professional wrestling world. For any fan’s of documentary’ s and wrestling this film will be a treat.
The film will be produced by Ross Levine, Stacey Souther, Bryn Mooser, and Christina McLarty Arquette. The film has a runtime of 90 minutes and is directed by David Darg and Price James.
