New Trailer Revealed For Upcoming Remake Of ‘The Grudge’

In perfect time for the Halloween season, a brand new trailer has been revealed for the upcoming reboot of “The Grudge”.  Watch below:

Back in 2002, Takashi Shimizu made Ju-on: The Grudge, the first movie in a lengthy Japanese horror series. The film led to a three-part American remake: The Grudge in 2004 (starring Sarah Michelle Gellar), The Grudge 2 in 2006, and The Grudge 3 three years later. The first two films in the trilogy of remakes were directed by Takashi Shimizu himself, while the third installment was directed by Toby Wilkins.

Now Nicolas Pesce to try a new take on the Japanese horror classic. This new version of “The Grudge”, which will be R-Rated in the United States, will be hitting theaters in January. The movie is produced by Sam Raimi, of “Evil Dead” fame.
