Sunday and Monday Night AMC Is Bringing The Premiere’s Of The Terror:Infamy, Lodge 49, and Fear The Walking Dead

The mid-season premiere of “Fear the Walking Dead” Season 5 airs on Sunday, August 11th at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. In this week’s episode, “Channel 4,” the group, traveling in a convoy, doubles-down on their mission to help survivors. In an effort to encourage more survivors to reach out, Al, Luciana, and Charlie document Morgan and the gang on a dangerous mission to help a reclusive survivor.

In the second half of Season 5, after successfully proving their way can work, our heroes gain momentum, rescuing survivors, and spreading the message of hope along the way — until foes both familiar and unexpected arise, forcing the group to question whether their brand of altruism can really make a difference in a world filled with death and decay.

 

 

“The Terror: Infamy” premieres on Monday, August 12th at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT with an episode titled “A Sparrow in a Swallow’s Nest.” In 1941, Chester Nakayama is caught between his insular Japanese American neighborhood on Terminal Island and his current all-American life. Extreme circumstances push his community and personal life to the brink, all while someone watches closely.

“The Terror: Infamy” centers on a series of bizarre deaths that haunt a Japanese American community, and a young man’s journey to understand and combat the malevolent entity responsible. In addition, the series is one of the first depicting the internment of Japanese Americans on such a massive scale – complete with authentically recreated camps in scope and scale as post-WWII.

The series stars Derek MioKiki Sukezane (Lost in Space), Cristina Rodlo (Miss Bala), Shingo Usami (Unbroken),Naoko Mori (Everest), Miki Ishikawa (9-1-1) and renowned actor, producer, author and activist George Takei (Star Trek), who also serves as a consultant.

Lodge 49” season two premieres on Monday, August 12th at 10:10 p.m. ET/PT. On the season premiere episode, “All Circles Vanish,” the pool shop is under new ownership. Dud recuperates from his shark attack while searching for Ernie. Ernie deals with the aftermath of his adventure with El Confidente. Liz enters the TempJoy workforce.

Season two of this modern fable set in Long Beach, CA centers on likable “Squire” and ex-surfer Sean “Dud” Dudley (Wyatt Russell), whose beloved fraternal order — the Ancient and Benevolent Order of the Lynx — is suffering under new rule by an ill-suited leader. Despite his “Knight” and mentor Ernie’s (Brent Jennings) lost faith, and his twin sister Liz’s (Sonya Cassidy) struggle with their past, Dud believes he is the key to restoring the Lodge to its former grandeur and putting the rightful king on the throne. In addition to Russell, Jennings and Cassidy, this season’s cast includes Linda Emond (Connie), Eric Allan Kramer (Scott) and David Pasquesi (Blaise).
