A New Trailer For ‘Aladdin’ Has Been Released

For fans that were skeptical about director Guy Ritchie’s vision for the highly anticipated live-action “Aladdin” film, Disney has graced us with a brand-new trailer that definitely gives us a much better look at the film and it appears that fans are pleased.

The video shows the story of Agrabah’s most famous thief as we know it, from the chase for stealing a piece of bread to Jafar asking him to go find the lamp which holds the famous genie, and of course the multiple songs and iconic scenes from the original Disney animated musical fantasy film (1992). Yes, including ‘This Whole New World’. Abu, the flying carpet, the genie, Lago… No one is missing.

The similarities with the original movie will certainly please the early fans, even if it doesn’t look like an exact copy (which, knowing Guy Ritchie, would be very surprising). We will have to wait May 24, the film’s release date, to find out for ourselves.
