Overall, this trailer is pretty great. There’s no dialogue, and it’s all just visual storytelling. Although this trailer is intentionally vague, it’s a bold approach considering it’s both a children’s film and highly anticipated film. Moreover, the animation and rendering here looks absolutely stunning. The shift to a different season of the year is a welcome visual change. Finally, it’s good to know that “Let it Go” wasn’t hugely referenced here, because this means that Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee won’t be riding on the coattails of the original’s success. There’s not much to glean form this trailer in terms of the plot itself. However, it’s effective enough to keep people interested until we get a full-length trailer.

Along with Lee and Buck’s return to helm Frozen 2, the script for the sequel was written by Lee and Allison Schroeder. The film features the return of voice talents Idina MenzelKristen Bell, Jonathan Groff, Josh Gad, and Alan Tudyk. Additionally, the film will also feature new additions Evan Rachel Wood and Sterling K. Brown unknown roles. Frozen 2 is due to hit theaters on November 22nd, 2019. In the meantime, you can find both the first synopsis for Frozen 2, along with the teaser poster for the film below:
