‘A Star Is Born’ Is Returning To Theaters with 12-Minutes of New Footage and 1 New Song

If Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper didn’t have enough to celebrate after their emotion-filled, breath-taking performance of ‘A Star Is Born’s’ “Shallow.” Now, The movie which won an Oscar for ‘Best Original Song’ and nominated for ‘Best Picture’ on Sunday is returning to theaters for a special one-week event showing. It will play in 1,150 theaters across the country starting on Friday (March 1st), according to The Hollywood Reporter.

A Star Is Born‘ first got released in cinemas in early October 2018, has gross over $425 million in the worldwide Box Office. This rerelease special edition ‘encore’ edition contains a extended performances of their songs “Black Eyes” and “Alibi,” as well as an impromptu a cappella performance of Lady Gaga’s “Shallow.” Viewers will also see brand new footage of Lady Gaga’s character, Ally, performing “Is That Alright?” to Cooper’s character, Jackson Maine, in the wedding sequence; Jack in his studio singing “Too Far Gone;” and Jack and Ally writing a new song together, titled “Clover.” This is 12-minutes of never-before-seen footage.
