Disney is continuing to prep us for their upcoming 50th anniversary celebration by giving us one of the first looks at the highly anticipated Guardians Of The Galaxy Ride which is being built in Epcot Center. The Guardians Of The Galaxy ride will be an enclosed roller coaster and is said to be one of, if not the, longest indoor roller coaster ever created.
It will also be the first attraction at Walt Disney World based on a Marvel Comic property, it is replacing the Universe of Energy Pavilion within the park. It is set to be open to the public in 2021.
Disney is pitching the massive indoor ride as a story-telling roller coaster and claims that the unique rotating design of the carts will fully immerse the rider into the story that is taking place around them. You can see some of that action in the video below:
