Part of the attraction to movies, especially ones that are on the lower end of the promotional scale, is taking delight in affectionately absorbing their cliche moments. Ones in which have become so commonplace that we often now half expect them!

Kong: Skull Island has recently made over $61,000,000 at the box office, signalling that audiences have not got tired of the largest cinematic ape. The film has garnered mixed opinions but plans for a King Kong v Godzilla movie, slated to be released sometime in 2020, is going full steam ahead as of time of writing.

It is believed by the author of this article that half of the issue is that T3 had to live in the shadow of it's far superior predecessor, Terminator 2: Judgment Day. No matter how good T3 was ever going to be, it would probably have always shipped some harsh criticism simply because that's what happens when trying to create a sequel to an Academy Award-winning phenomenon

So I know what some of you might be thinking, "But Tommy, its yet another Terminator film and the last one wasn't so great." Well I am here to tell you a few reasons why I think you maybe wrong. So without further ado, here and my Top 5 Reasons Terminator Genisys Will Be Awesome!

No matter how serious the subject matter of the film might be, It never really forgets why it is being made in the first place: to entertain. All of the more Meta aspects aside, the overall thoughtfulness and attention to detail is what ultimately makes T2 rise above your typical, forgettable summer faire.
