Eli Roth Will Return To Direct Thanksgiving 2

It was recently announced that Eli Roth with return to direct the sequel to his hit horror movie Thanksgiving. In 2007, Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez teamed up as an homage to exploitation double features in the ’60s and ’70s with two back-to-back cult films, The movie was called Grindhouse. Rodriguez directed a zombie movie called Planet Terror. , Roth directed and narrated the faux trailer segment Thanksgiving for Grindhouse and appeared in Death Proof, Tarantino’s segment of the film. Roth and co-writer Jeff Rendell.

For years fans wanted the fake trailer that appeared in Death Proof to be made into a full-length feature film. Eli Roth must have been listening, because Thanksgiving received a theatrical release in the United States by TriStar Pictures on November 17, 2023. The film received generally positive reviews from critics and has grossed $45.9 million worldwide. Roth wrote the script with Jeff Rendell, both men created the fake trailer back in 2007.

A killer maniac terrorizes residents of Plymouth, Massachusetts, after a Black Friday riot ends in tragedy. Picking off victims one by one, the seemingly random revenge killings soon become part of a larger, sinister plan.
